Launched from a physical workbook, Unicorn Academy includes additional AR courses that immerse students in design thinking and business model canvases from top brands like Tesla, Nike, Instagram and TikTok. Throughout the program, students will learn how to create human-centered solutions in AR through a variety of assignments, and ultimately have the opportunity to develop their own businesses based on AR and accompanying content marketing. .

“We are excited to offer Geenee AR’s cutting-edge technology to help us drive innovation when creating future educational experiences. With the commercial release of smart glasses on the horizon, the way we consume the information and learning is going to change drastically. A phygital handbook is a clear way to impact the future,” says Joseph Sapien, Executive Director of STTE.

“Preparing the next generation of innovators to launch startups begins with a change in mindset. NMSU is excited for the opportunity to support the development of a super-scalable platform that aims to increase the number of students pursuing entrepreneurship,” says Kathy Hansen, Director and CEO. from the NMSU Arrowhead Center.

There are several key benefits to the Unicorn Academy book experience. First, the protection of personal information is essential in the K12 education sector. Therefore, readers do not need to provide any information to access the educational experience. Additionally, the book has no walled gardens and is a “fully web-based interface”, which provides a frictionless user experience, removing the barrier of downloading an app to experience learning. Finally, statistics confirm that students remember 90% of material if learned through experience. Thus, readers are introduced to a hologram teacher with the option to select English and Spanish.

Geenee AR CEO Cory Grenier says, “The 3D Internet is at a multi-generational inflection point, a paradigm shift toward immersive 3D digital identity and self-expression. The most valuable tech companies out there are all developing AR-enabled glasses, a form factor that will transform the way we interact and transact online. AR software is fundamentally based on a foundation of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and 3D graphics. These cutting-edge areas, distilled into a powerful AR authoring tool, logically align with STTE’s mission to apply STEAM education to advance and accelerate the next generation to build the businesses of the future.”
